12th Grade Assistant Principal Ms. Silsby

Welcome back, Seniors!

We are thrilled to have the Class of 2019 back with us for their senior year. You all have worked so hard to get where you are today, and you need to celebrate that! You should be so proud of yourselves for all that you have accomplished so far. Unfortunately, the hard work isn't over.  Senior year can be challenging and mentally exhausting if you don't take care of yourself. As exciting as they are, college or job applications or military enrollments can all be very overwhelming and anxiety provoking.  I encourage you to reach out for help and support from the trusted adults in your life. We will help you problem solve and remind you to stay solution-oriented and help you employ strategies to keep you moving towards your goals. Above all, enjoy the time spent with your classmates this year, as there will never be another time in your life quite like it. The Class of 2019 has a reputation for being good-hearted and kind individuals, and I challenge you to continue to build on that legacy during your senior year.

A few tips for this year... don't get behind. You will find that many of you have more freedoms this year, remember that this also means more responsibility. You are free to make your own choices, but you are not free from the consequences of those choices.

Know that I am always here to listen to you, to advocate for you, and to celebrate both short and long-term milestones with you. Keep the end in mind, have fun, and be safe.

Parking applications can be found under student resources.
