10th Grade Teacher On Special Assignment Ms. Kirisits

Class of 2024

My name is Natalie Kirisits.  I am the new Coordinator of Student and Family Engagement.  I am honored to have the opportunity to work with your class for the 2021-2022 school year.  I had the pleasure of getting to know many of you last year in my role as a Reading Specialist and a co-teacher in some of the 9th grade English classrooms.  While last year brought along unprecedented challenges, I was amazed by the 9th grade classes’ fortitude and resilience.
In my new position, I look forward to building on the relationships I have already formed in my four years at the High School, while at the same time establishing new connections with students, families, staff, and community members.  My goal as Coordinator is to renew the school climate and culture that has always made Spencerport High School such an outstanding place.  Furthermore, I hope to create new opportunities that are inclusive and reflective of the diverse population of Spencerport students and family members.
One of my favorite quotes is, “Fall Seven Times, Stand Up Eight.”  As we transition into a new year, I am optimistic that no matter what challenges we might face, that we will remain Spencerport strong, and together, help one another rise up.
I look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions, ideas, comments, or concerns.
