C DAY

Jeremy Norbut's Weather Forecast:
Good morning everyone!  Today's high is forecasted to be in the lower 50's and dropping into the 40's this afternoon.  Rain will taper off this morning but it will remain very windy today with a wind advisory being issued for wind gusts up to 50 mph.  The weekend looks to be cooler in the upper 30's tomorrow and lower 30's on Sunday.  After that I am watching a storm for late next week.  The polar vortex could break up in the last week of March which brings the potential for a significant winter event from March 21st to April 10th.
Until then stay tuned and have a weathertastic day.

Daily we are hearing news reports about the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the most recent confirmed case in New York City.  Here are some things we are encouraging our students and families to do to prevent the spreading:
  * Frequently washing hands with soap and water and using hand sanitizer       as needed
  * Avoiding close contact with people who are sick
  * Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  * Staying home when you are sick
  * Covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throwing the tissue in       the trash
  * Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces

The Health Office has created a wall space where we would like staff and students to be able to hang photos of their pets.  We are calling it "Ruby and Mickey's Wall" after our school's two support animals and it is located just outside of the Health Office.  Please bring in a picture of whatever pet you have at home so we can hang it on our wall!
