College Application Quick Start
Step 1: Complete your application. (We strongly recommend using the Common Application whenever possible.)
- If you use Common App:
- You need to make sure you have “Matched” your accounts in Naviance (see image below)


Step 2: Log into Naviance to request your transcript.
- Students will log in with their school Microsoft account, but should make sure to put their personal email into Naviance and on any college applications (student email accounts are closed after June 30th)
- The Naviance App can be found on the District Website under Students (see image below) or from Students Classlink Launchpad
Step 3: Stop into the counseling office to pick up the following (or download & print from files below):
➡️Record Release Form must be signed by you and your parent (18 & over don’t need parent signature)
➡️One Green Tracking Form for each college to which you are applying
Step 4: Return completed Green Tracking Form and Record Release Form to Counseling at least 10 school days prior to application deadline.
Step 5: Log on to Naviance to check your application’s status.
Step 6: Reach out to your counselor with any questions!!
NOTE: If after 1st Semester, your college requests 1st Quarter grades, you will need to fill out “Request to 1st Quarter Grades” sheet and list your college.
NOTE: If your college requests your mid-year grades, please fill the “Request to Send Mid-Year Grades”. Please keep in mind, this will be sent once the 1st semester grades are set.
